Become a Bone Marrow Donor

This week, I learned that a good friend of mine from law school, Matt Fenster, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. He is a father of four young children, and was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. He now needs a bone marrow transplant to save his life.

Matt's best chance at finding a donor is from someone within the Jewish community. I hope that many of you out there will consider getting swabbed and registering to be a bone marrow donor. The test is quick and painless and could potentially save a life. If you'd like to find out more information about Matt, gather more information about becoming a bone marrow donor, or donate money to support the testing and registering of more individuals (especially those in the Jewish community), please click the link below to visit Matt's donor circle.

For those of you who are local and want to help, there is an upcoming Bone Marrow Registry Drive on May 22 from 1-3 pm at Churchill High School (in the Cafeteria). Thank you.
